I was full-time solo traveling a few years ago, and I cannot tell you how many messages, emails, and comments I’ve received asking specifically about how to travel with or on a budget… and I truly never tire of it! And when I first started playing around with the idea of traveling long-term, I knew that finances would always be the thing that either kept me going or never let me start, so I decided to make sure it helped me travel rather than kept me from ever getting to do it… and I have never looked back.

I’ve had the opportunity to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando multiple times over the last few years, and it honestly never ceases to amaze me! From the way you enter Diagon Alley to the music that follows you around the parks to when you finally see the castle right in front of you, it’s truly an experience that engulfs you in all of the magic you’d hope to find from the books and movies.

A few years ago, I took a trip to New Orleans with my roomate (Kat), and we decided to make a roadtrip out of it, so we left Nashville at an ungodly hour ready with a fun playlist, a bag of snacks, and a car-full of excitement. Eight hours later we arrived in NOLA, and it became one of my favorite cities real quick. There is just so much life in that place, with all of the music, food, and people.
